Roll Eyes i am, unfortunately, stuck in this superlame tourist pit called savannah, where i am surrounded by the super wealthy or super trashy, who either way are not into crafting.

If you see this, send help!

I'm originally from Savannah (currently attending college in Atlanta), and I found that there are indeed very few places to get anything good, mostly because they've all closed down. My only good suggestion is to check out the Goodwill on Sally Mood (Between Abercorn and Waters, if you take Eisenhower). Besides that, I'm clueless -- if anyone has any ideas, can you inform me?

Hey, I go to the arts academy in Savannah.  I don't think Savannah is that bad, although it can be a bit of a tourist trap.  I see many crafty people, though, hm.  Anyway, I'll be moving away soon for college but nice to see some Savannah people online

i'm about to move int an apartment right across from the arts academy......
I'm terrified. I thought living on 37th was boring.... now im going to be trapped in the suburbs!
i hope the art students are quiet in the morning?

So I am not alone afterall.

I like to knit (but I do not like the ladies at Twigs), I am trying to teach myself crochet, and I would like learn to know how to sew.  I bought a machine hoping that I would learn thru osmosis, but it hasn't happened yet.  I am also working on some stand-up comedy material.  I am gonna try the whole "open mic" thing.  What the heck...

I recently quit smoking (31 days!) and I am on a major eating plan change.  Switched from 7 yrs veggie to carnivore.  Need to drop some lbs.  But still love the animals.  Feel horribly guilty.  Will probably burn in hell.

I am 31, married, no kids and no plans for any.  I have 3 cats, 2 of them are summering in Boulder, CO with their aunt.  The one cat that is here in Savannah just had 3 kittens one week ago.  Adorable, of course.

I am dying for some low country crafty companionship.

i need to know how to knit- my stich and bitch is collecting dust.
no one likes twigs.
Have you herd of wild fibre? It a new fibers store on liberty towards habersham with absolutely beautiful stuff. ithere are tons of weaving supplies and all sorts of yarn that is hard t find. a little pricy but worth every penny.

There is nothing to do in savannah but craft or be rich and mean.
