this was a pretty simple skirt.  well.  i wouldnt know.  i made my mom make it.  she has yet to show me how to use the sewing machine.  damn her!  anyway.
this was a sheet i bought at Goodwill for 3 bucks.  i saw it and nearly had a hissy fit.  yes, im alittle to young to actually be a true fan of New Kids, but anything 80'S like this sends me into caniptions.  so woot.

this is me in the skirt-

its a wrap skirt so this is the skirt all laid out on my messy messy floor

and this is a close up of the totally tubular sheet

(if this actually works i will be so freakin happy.  im better at this crafty thing than i am at this  computor thing)

oh oh ohhhhh oh oh ohhhhhhhh oh oh ohhhhhhh THE RIGHT STUFF!

I remember back in the day, I would dance in our basement singing "hangin' tough" at the top of my lungs...ahh, the memories. Tell your mom she did a kick ass job on the skirt Smiley

Now I want a NKOTB skirt!!!!

Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers but to be fearless in facing them. Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain, but for the heart to conquer it. Let me not look for allies in life's battlefield but to my own strength.

OMG, I remember those sheets...and the dolls, jackets, pins, shirts, concerts...omg this is bringing back wayyyyy too many memories.  I think I still have my binder with I LOVE JOEY MCINTYRE written w/ glitter on the front of it...unless I burned it in effigy that is.

Anyway, off on a tangent.  Cool skirt. Wink

I love it!

My 8th birthday party was all NKOTB.  We watched music videos, then performed our own dance routines.  I remember I even got a NKOTB puzzle.  I was so in love with Jordan.  Now after seeing him on The Surreal Life, I'm glad nothing ever came of our love  Wink

That skirt's got "The Right Stuff" (ha, I'm a dork)

All you need is the sleeping back, and you can make one of those puffy vests (is that even possible to do?) to have a matching outfit.  I think I would totally wear the vest, if I had one!
