I dont' know if anyone remembers these, but these remind me of these dolls all my friends used to have (and i always wanted but never got). They were these dolls that when you lifted the skirt over their head the skirt became a cupcake and you put this cover over them for the head, then if you took the cover off and pulled the cake part down it became a skirt and you had your cupcake doll...Don't know if i'm doing them justice.

That is exactly what I thought when I saw them.  My little sister had a pink one.

LOL!  I was just looking through the Wilton's Year Book at different cakes etc... and I was considering entering a crochet 'doll pick cake'.  I don't think I'll bother now as you've got that one covered, thrice!! Great job...Bernie

I had thought about making the Barbie sized ones, but with the short amount of time, I decided to go the mini route!  My girls asked if I would make one for their american girl dolls, and my youngest wished she could have one for herself for Halloween--I don't know about the last one!  Wink
