For some reason, the combination of colors and the flower remind me of Hawaii. Here she is:







My first attempt at lining anything crocheted. The gathering and lining were done by machine. This was also my first try with a purse snap (if you look really close you can find it) which was surprisingly easy. The pocket was a last-minute addition as you can tell because the pattern doesn't match. Um, I meant to do that.

Thanks guys! My MIL got this one for her b-day. But now I need one of my very own. Has anyone tried this with a short shoulder strap instead of a handle?

gorgeous bag aztec! i love the shell flower.

you say you sewed the lining with machine... any tips for doing this? i was going to do one by hand but yours looks nice and neat and it doesnt look like the sewing machine tried to eat it. any tips would be appreciated!  Grin
