lately i've been wicked into pink. and cupcakes. and ice cream. and dresses. i'm like 2 instead of 22.

anywho. i want to make a neapolitan ice cream inspired dress. problem. i'm wierd about colors patterns, i need advice or i'll never pick one. so i got really bored on paint and made this demo of all the combos. hehe. lots of copy p sate and filling colors. so which one looks best/ would probly be most attractive and body flattering on a person?

What a great idea - it'll be a perfect summer dress!

It depends a bit on the fabrics you use, and I'm not an expert, but I think either vanilla or chocolate in the middle - darkest or lightest colour in the centre, basically. I think that would draw the eye in nicely.

Unless maybe you altered the pattern so there were more but thinner stripes of each colour and you could put brown (ie, darkest) stripes on either side so they frame you? Darker shades as a frame is a classic flattering trick for most shapes - the eye then focuses on whatever's inside the frame.

the 2nd and the second to the last are the most appealing to me.  seems like they would be the most slimming.

I feel that way too, vanilla at the center suits best.

A disgrace to the international community of swap organizers.

"Stressed" is "desserts" spelled backwards.

My favorite is second to the right. In any case, I would put the vanilla in the middle unless you are super-skinny.

Personally I would go with two or five. Other wise the optical illusion is that you are lopsidedly heavy. Beyond that I can't really help. I like them both equally well. If you were really flat chested you could make it reversable and then you could have both two and five, but I am guessing that you are not, but something to think about if you ar emaking one for, say, a toddler...

Great idea though. You will have to post the finished product.

OOOOH tie breaker which color is your favorite? What handedness are you? Put your favorite on the opposite side, that way it will be less likely to be obscured when carrying a purse and such.

I swap, so in crafting terms I guess that means I put out... You?

I acutally like when the vanilla is in the middle.

Everybody likes pink. People who think otherwise are in denial.

I agree, vanilla in the center. It's the most flattering and the most recognizable.

Great idea by the way!

I would go for vanilla to, most flattering. Are you going to use a bought pattern?
