I have been wanting to make a little crocheted yoda ever since I'd heard about the Hooters "toy Yoda" scandal (article here: http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2002/05/09/toy-yoda.htm) and tomorrow is DH's birthday, so two birds with one stone!

Here he is (shirt and cloak are felt)

AHHH! Love it! I'm so making one- once I get the hang of crocheting. Any chance of a pattern or tutorial? Just a basic Idea of what shapes to make, since I've never done it. I'm guessing a big circle and a cylinder?

Thanks:) And awesome job, I'm sure he'll love it.

Thanks everyone!

frogeyesalad - pretty much what you guessed, I used an H hook and Red Heart worsted weight yarn, the head is a sphere, body is a tube, and ears are cones, folded in half to make triangles.

Yeah, I'm guessing so too! And then for the ears, just make a triangle.
