I was at knithappens.com about ten minutes ago and the projects from the new book weren't posted yet... But I couldn't resist and came back just now and guess what?  They're up!  Go check them out.

This book came JUST in time for Christmas.  Everyone's getting fuzzy dice this year, oohhhh yeah.

Ditto - I can't believe how much I'm looking forward to this!  Unfortunately, I asked for it for Christmas from my brother, so I have to wait another 2 months for it Sad  But that will let me finish some of the other stuff I have on the go!

Love the blue wrap top - I've been looking for that kind of pattern for ages!  Also love the flower jumper and the trucker vest, the striped shoulder bag, the handbg, my mum will want the stripey poncho...  I have to say I laughed out loud when I saw the slippers, but I can so see myself in them Cheesy  I want to make about 70% of those pics, so the lys will be out of stock in no time...

I am so boring I think people should be interested in me.

I'm soooo glad to see that, so far at least, you guys are digging the patterns in the book. And you know, the photos in the book are much nicer than the ones on my site, which I somehow made much to blown-out, color wise, and some of the stuff looks like it's glowing. (I hope to get that fixed some time this week). I'm also working on getting a bulletin board up there, not to take away from craftster.org or any of the other fab boards already out there, but just so that when folks ask book- or pattern-related questions, i can answer them there and they'll be available to everyone (and easier to find). If you stop by the site, please add your name to the email list so I can let you know when that's live. Okay, back to working on the bulletin board...

I think knithappens having its own bulletin board is a great idea.  As far as it taking away from craftster?  Highly unlikely.  I think we're a bunch of posting fools and LOVE having the same project on more than one board.  Am I right, ladies?

Also, I rarely buy knitting books for patterns 'cause there are just so many free ones to pick out from online.... but the Stitch 'n Bitch books are different because they're so happy and lovely and lively.  Glossy full color pictures are my favorite.

In fact, sometimes I still take my old Stitch 'n Bitch book into the bathroom with me when I need something to... occupy my time.  I've looked at the pictures probably a zillion times!

UGH my next paycheck is WAY too far away.   Undecided  Until then I'll just have to lust over the website.  Wink
