Anyone interested in taking part at the beginning of May?

If so, post on this thread and tell us what sort of kits you can make and what you are interested in receiving.

To see how this swap works check out the link to Round 8

Possibly... I have two big swaps in the works, so whether I sign up depends on how much of a dent I can make in my crafting for those swaps over the next two weekends.

I could do a beginner/intermediate knitting kit, or a cross stitch or needlepoint kit.

I'd be interested in cross stitch (any skill level), needlepoint (any skill level), knitting (beginner to intermediate), or a beginner crochet kit (and I do mean beginner - I couldn't crochet my way out of a wet paper bag).

Maybe we could make this an ongoing swap.

The first person posts their list of DIY kits and someone claims one of the kits. Then that person posts their list of kits and so on.

The advantage of an ongoing swap is that you get to choose which kit you would really like. Also you only have to ship to the number of partners that you want to.

What do people think?

I could make these kits:

drop spindling kit
lip balm kit
bath scrub kit
kool aid dyeing kit
seed bomb kit

I'm interested in:

beginner's crochet kit
intermediate knitting kit
ATC kit (ephemera, etc.)
and the felted pens kit sounds awfully intriguing!

(I could also get way in over my head with all the swaps I want to do now that I have one under my belt.   Roll Eyes )

I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's me with some yarn on my head.

I'm not sure if I can participate or not, but I  love the idea of the ongoing swap.  I'm an ongoing swap addict.

I could probably do spinning/knitting/dyeing related things

and i'd love felting things, or things for soap or paper or maybe atc's

I think the idea of an ongoing DIY kit swap is superb! Although the only kits I could make would be felting related (pens, needle felting, soap and maybe dreads) and at least one other person can do all of those!

I am addicted swaps, including personal swaps!

We will probably double up on quite a few kits in this swap but I don't see it as a problem - they will all be slightly different from each other.
