Can you dye 100% cotton?  I am verrrry new to this & have some great cotton that would be awesome to dye if I could. 

Is there any fiber you can't dye?

Hey, I dyed some cotton balls with washable marker once.... sure since it was red it turned pink but still

You can dye cotton.

It's just not as "easy" to dye as wool is, in the sense that you can't use kool-aid, food coloring, etc.

They make specific dyes for cotton fibers that you can get.
