I made this for my Brother in law's unborn baby girl.

He has a stomach tattoo in the same style, so it should be appropriate.  Her nickname at the moment is Spot.  It took me the best part of a day to stitch, I really detest satin stitch, I suck at it.  But I like this piece.  The font is called Textura, I got it from the Tackorama website free.  More pics on my blog (in my sig).

Should I do her another onesie featuring a sailor girl pin-up like her Grandfather has, or is that too much?   Grin

Love it!!  Go for the sailor pin up!  Love means having matching tattoos.

Wonderful!  Did you use anything to stabilize the embroidery?

Human rights are for EVERYONE.  Did you know that Aung San Suu Kyi had been released from house arrest in Burma? Many other prisoners of conscience are still being detained.  Please research this topic... Amnesty International needs your help.

Aw thanks guys.   Smiley  I have used a tear-away type webbing stabilizer, I just had to because of the stretch factor of the onesie.  I cut it away as close as I dared to the embroidery, but I have not attached a protective backing yet.  I am holding out because I want to wash it in my machine first.  I am curious to see if the exposed  stabilizer will soften and breakaway, and if it doesn't then I will attach a backing.
