I hate the summertime as a college student, no scholarship money coming in and most of my loan money is gone by the middle of it. So I wanted a new haircut but didn't have much cash, and last night after I dried my hair I was feeling especially generic when looking in the mirror.
So I cut my own hair.

And after:

I like my little pieces that hang down with a ponytail:

Looking at it myself, I think it turned out pretty damn good, considering I have never cut hair before in my life. I wanted something funky, but I wanted to keep it long too. I think this style does the job.

I didn't know there was a hair forum on here! WOO!
Anyway, yesterday 4 of my friends and I dyed our hair with manic panic dye (washes out in about a month or so)
So...I have natural red hair, dyed it "Deadly Nightshade" and had no idea how it was going to turn out...but I thought it turned out good:

yeah. that's it. =)

I just dyed my hair...!!!!

Not really. I don't have the guts. My hair is super long (past my waist) and really healthy. I think I'd die myself if I did.

This wig though is now a regular feature.[/size]

I think I had already decided to dye my hair and was just trying to kid myself.
I did the deed on Friday in time for our town's annual Zombie Walk.
For those who haven't been with us before the commercial break, this is what my hair looked like before the dye:

Yup, that's a bleached blonde. My natural hair colour's a very dark brown.
And then,

(Please excuse the MySpace-yness.)
And this is what it looks like after a few shampooings, complete with zombie makeup.

My hair looks brighter again now that I've reapplied the dye.

Today I wanted to try ultra blonde...

The first 45 minutes...

The last 45 minutes...

And the final product...

So if you can tell by my reaction... I didn't totally go for this... I know my eyebrows don't look good witht the blonde but the one thing I don't like is how my hair is orangish... You know brassy?
Any way I can fix that a bit??
Can I just go buy a darker blonde and dye it again as a quick fix?
