I received this great package from knit_north today.  The box was just crammed with goodies: there's a few types of fun yarns for my yarn scrap pillow in progress, a sweater pattern, some pretty velvety ribbon, some tea, chocolate sauce, spicy tofu mix, poetry magnets, info on caribou (a very important animal in knit_north's part of the world  Smiley), a toy fishing game, and a marzipan mouse (very cute)!

Thanks so much-- this was great fun!!!

I received my package from lovely_gangster today, and I'm SOOOO spoiled.

I got a ton of Australian stamps, yarn, candy, 2 magazines, and tea.  I love it all!

I felt bad that most of them weren't steamed off the envelope paper, but I guess it's better than nothing.  There were a couple from my collection that I had had time to steam though.

I tried to get candy that was typically Australian too.  Some of them have been around since my Mum was a little girl.

Oh, I never steam them off... And I don't feel bad! Wink

OK so here goes with the completely awesome package I got from our organiser geeyouknit.  She did SUCH a good job of fulfilling my wishes and has encited extreme envy amongst my friends!!  When I told them about the stuff i got they were like "where do you GET all of this stuff?"

anyway, onto what i received...

the whole loot^^ including 2 vintage magazines, 4 vintage postcards (2 were german because germany was another country on my list), some cut outs of vintage images, shrinky dinks, caramel apple pops, a boat load of kool-aid, typewriter font stamps (i've been wanting those for AGES), and rolos (which i accidentally ate already  Roll Eyes)

in short, an ber awesome package.  here are some more photos:

thanks so much!!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
