I hear you on the summer vacation!  I bet the kids have no idea that the teachers count down just as hard at the end of the school year.  17 days left...woohoo!  I think I will do nothing but spin for like a week straight when we get out, just because I can.

The last order I got from carol (I think it was three or 4 pounds) was absolutely FULL of mohair!  There wasn't a single bit of wool that didn't have at least a touch of mohair, and some was more than half.  It's kind of nice...I like the luster that it gives to the yarn.  If you haven't gotten a grab bag yet, YOU SHOULD!!  I really enjoyed mine.

I ordered two pounds of the roving, one white, one black/white mix. I love the way it feels (the first roving I tried to spin with was really rough compared to this). I am soon going to dye it green then spin it, I can't wait!

I also received some really soft and pretty, blue(it is really like turquoise, or tealish)-black-white(it is super super soft)-----But I can't spin it well! I have to take out all the super soft white stuff because when I spin with it it slips, I am still learning. Can anyone tell me what this mix could be? It is really soft.

I just ordered my first fiber EVER from the Sheep Shed. They are at a fiber show and won't be able to process till after May 30th! Sad

I tried to order a drop spindle from The Woolery. Keeping my fingers crossed that my oder went through properly and I'll soon be spinning!

So, I finally took out my black/white mix to start some dyeing and there are these uber short-stapled white hairs that fly everywhere!  I mean, it looks like my cat exploded on me... Tongue  What are these fibers?!

It's mohair, isn't it?  Undecided

I ordered mine this weekend finally. I got one pound each grab bag, browns, and a bell. I'm thinking I'll see what I like and then place a big order. And now I'm laughing because I don't consider 3 pounds to be a big order anymore. Ever since I made the leap from spindle to wheel I go through SO MUCH wool! I think if I ever made it to the place they get their mill ends and saw all that cheap wool in person I would go hysterical. For real.

I'm on my second order from Carol.  Her wool is fantastic.  I adore the brown and white mix, it spun terrifically!  I just placed a larger order, and am wondering if I should have even purchased more!

Okay, you've got me interested...

I placed my order yesterday, and they said it would go out the same day, but I'm in Canada, so it should be a few weeks until I get it.  I'm so excited!

Do any Canadians know how long their order took to get to them?
