I work at a pharmacy, and some of those capsules are so cute that I couldn't resist making an over the counter version.

I made a little tag so that I don't mix up my medications, of course.

Here he is with his little tag:

I'd really like to find inexpensive jars to put these guys in, just like real capsules, but I can't seem to find anything that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Any suggestions?

mason jars. they're not very medicine-y though. but they are dirt cheap. I've found if you look out for them even lazily they will accumulate like tribbles.

How cute! And, if he is small enough, you could try the larger baby food jars (you probably know someone or know someone who knows someone who has a baby). Or, salsa jars (and you have the added bonus of eating the salsa first!).

The choices you make today determine the choices you will have tomorrow.

They're only about three inches tall. I like the mason jar idea. Those things are dirt cheap. Do they come in smaller sizes, maybe more of a spice jar kind of size? I haven't tried baby food jars. I do know a baby, but she just started getting teeth, so now she eats grown up food. I guess babies just grow too fast...

Aw, adorable... try charity/thrift shops for jars... when I worked at a charity shop last year they had tons and tons of random glass jars just hanging around that never sold... try asking the old ladies  Wink

Well, you can take a few jars of the stage 1-2 veggies and add them to casseroles and the like. The nature of the baby food won't matter so much and you can sneak in a bit more veggie (this is how I fool myself!)

These are super cute!  I'm a medical student and I think these would be a HUGE hit with my classmates.  Maybe vary the colors and cover the whole range of Rx's.  May I ask where you got the pattern?
