!
I'm a sucker for DNA jewelry. I've actually made a different version, using this tutorial. Michael's even had the perfect length beads for the purines and pyrimidines!
Yours look more intricate, though.

I'm glad everyone likes it and found the tutorial helpful:)
I was struggling to pick a major, bio or art, but I ended up choosing art because I can't do chemistry.

I must now go and make these instead of studying for my Biopsychology midterm.  Grin

They should go beautifully with the DNA cabled scarf (http://www.twosheep.com/helix/) I am planning for my next lecture-knitting project (I listen better when my hands are busy - my instructors are all used to me now and don't mind).

I have to go find my caffeine-molecule earrings to post them.

Oh I just saw this thread...too awesome Cheesy

What kind of wire are you all using? The thin stuff like for French beaded flowers?

I know this is a really old thread, but I just wanted to let you know that I love it. <3

I made one(yeah, just one. the wire destroyed my fingernails so I decided to wear it with a different earring). It was amazing and I was all set to wear it to school today but then I discovered that I was allergic to the crappy earring hook thing I used. XD

But after I get a better one, I'm sure it will be a hit with all my friends. And my biology teacher. Thanks so much for the tutorial.
