I've made most of a Granny's no Square bag, but can't seem to find a source of 1/2 inch rivets in the UK (only little titchy ones!) - or 2" rings either - biggest I can find are 32mm!  I could finish it without, but it does look good with the rivets etc in the book, so I'm sort of stuck.  Does anyone know where I can get the bits to finish it off over here?

A fundamentally amoral use of faux fur.

You might try the classifieds on this site.  If you haven't already, you can post that you are looking for these rivets.

Try at a hardware store. They usually have stuff like that.

Would scrapbooking brads work? I have found medium rivets in Australia in my LCS with the yellow thread they sell for jeans, sort of near the zips. Or maybe from leatherworking supplies?

I found mine in the leather crafting section.

Oooh! This was my first ever post on Craftster!  I'd almost forgotten about it... I gave up on the rivets in the end, and the bag looks fine without them.  I did try a few leather crafting websites, but still couldn't really find what I wanted in the UK (without having to buy hundreds of them!).  Isn't it fun how old posts pop back up to the top of the pile sometimes?
