Here's a sneak peek at my first scarf.  I only have a scanner, so "real" pics will have to wait until I take them the old fashioned way and scan them in.  Wink

(The strand that looks orange isn't actually orange...)

I shortened all the yarns a bit, so the braided sections fall to the waistband of my jeans, with about 6 inches or so of loose ends at the bottom.  I have an idea about securing the braids...but for now I just tied them with yarn.  I can't wait to wear it somewhere!!

I have recieved three packages this week...
first from a_heart_apart:

And from Velvet Rose:

And today I came home to a package from koreancracker:

Sorry about the camera phone pics, but my digi is currently packed in a box, not to be seen again until after I move... :S
The colours are all reds, pinks, oranges, and yellows, which are exactly what I asked for (not that you can really tell with those pics). There are some great handspuns, a loong strand of pink sequins (!) and lots of great stuff in there! This is going to be an awesome scarf (again)

I received from 4/5 people Smiley

everyone seems to have found a common thread (haha, no pun intended Wink) in that fantastic bright blue!

I too may wait for another round to make my scarf so I can mix and match more... though most of this stuff looks wonderful together, so we'll see

Bronzfrog, I'm so distracted by the awesome kitty fabric! Where did you get the top one (black & white)?
