This is my first project post, and my first stencil attempt...I'm biting my nails giddy.  Cheesy

This is "The Lorax", done with a freezer paper stencil made from a stencil from the stencilry. It says "I speak for the trees". Next time, I'll use a darker pink...it's more readable IRL. Very tree hugger.  Grin

How did you like the freezer paper method?

I tried it for the first time tonight.  I was super pleased with the results, but I am super bummed that it's a one time use thing.  Mine was pretty elaborate, like yours, so I imagine yours took a bajillion years to cut out, too?

I think I'll use freezer paper for simpler things from now on, and make my more elaborate stencils with something reusable.

jenna_alive, yes, it did take a long time to cut out...I have the finger callous to prove it, lol! Cheesy Next time, I'm investing in a better pen knife.
