lots and lots of pictures.
here's what I sent hotty.

Here are the Nemos checking hotty's scarf, and wondering how they can get their initials on there!!  But it would just be N + N... hm...

Pens to do evil writing with!

stamps i found in HK, even though they were taiwan stamps.

a close up.

Pygmy Puff candy & the beautifying potion bath salts in house colors.

I only have pictures of one of the toothbrush... but you get the idea.

I guess my package was more of a pre-made package as opposed to make everything from scratch.  cuz well, i'm not so good at making things from scratch.  I hope the time i spent wandering around HK looking for house appropriate stuff equals how long it would have took if I made it all from scratch.  which i wouldn't be able to do anyway, cuz making my own stamps just sounds mad.

Yes, I'll be sneaking it into the library.  Wink

The stamps are SO cool! Too bad drooling around them would be a bad idea! LOL

OK, check out the awesomeness I got from Starsview!  It's all really great.

There's everything together.  That pillow, incidentally, is Gryffindor on the other side.

A whole bunch of Potterpuff stickers, magnets, and bookmarks (not shown are the Potterpuffs rainbow one, holding my place in Azkaban while I reread for Deathly Hallows clues, and the several holding places in the Punk Rock Aerobics book while I attempt to exercise  Cheesy ).  Check out the Sirius sticker--backwards so I can put it in my car!

I had to show you guys a close up of the book cover.  My name is the last one--hee!

And my very own post owl!

Thanks so much Starsview!  I know I'm late in sending--this week has been a bit wacky (not even time to visit craftster!) but I am sending tomorrow, I swear.

Oh I love the inside of that book, very clever!  Cheesy

I recieved an amazing package from daiconharuko today, full of wonderfuly creative stuff! She really listened to what I liked, and she put a lot of work into everything.

But beware, I went a little crazy with the pictures.  Roll Eyes

Here's a group shot, clashing a bit with my old covers.

She granted my wish for a scarf that I could wear this summer to the book release, without roasting in the Kansas weather.  Smiley It's very light and loosely knit and I am definitely going to rock it at the party.

Oh all right, Harry, you can wear it too!

This is an awesome S.P.E.W. pin with art by someone called mneomosyne, I'd never heard of them before but the art is super cool! It's big so I can use it on the scarf and other knit items.

Action shot with the scarf and pin.

Trevor! Neville is my absolute favorite character from both the books and the movies, I hadn't even told her how much I wanted a toad of my own, and she made me one!

And here's a framed picture of Neville and his gran, also by mneomosyne, it's so cute! The frame looks brown in this picture, it's actually gold.

A Harry Potter Alphabet book with more art by mneomosyne! It is so freaking cool, I can't wait to show it to my little niece who's learning the ABCs, she loves HP too.  Grin

And finally, everything was packed inside this Harry Potter sheet that she bought for crafting but never used. I've always hoped to find one of these at Goodwill and I've got plans to make a skirt with it for the book release.  Cheesy

Thank you so much daiconharuko!  Kiss

You are sooo welcome! I'm glad you liked everything.

If anyone is curious, here is Mnem's art site! http://community.livejournal.com/mnem_art/

She's absolutely amazing! She's also friends with Yukipon who also does a lot of HP art.

I'm going to go knit myself a loose scarf now. It's going to be like 120 here when the book is released...

Starsview (or anyone who knows) how/where do I learn to make stickers? Smiley

I snuck it in while I was at a freelance job one day! hehe But really, its a Xyron sticker maker. They have smaller ones that people use for scrap booking and stuff like that. The kind I just happened to use was a larger scale one with a heavier tack roll. You can also buy injet printable sticker paper in clear and white. They don't stay stuck so well (well, I've never had them work well, but maybe I want too much out of them, I wasn't sticking them to paper) and the clear one's image was easily chipped off with my nail. I'd vote for the xyron sticker maker myself. I want one once I get some extra cash for crafty stuff again.

Here are a few close-ups of a few things I sent to mllejessy. I've been putting off getting pictures off my camera for some reason and decided that I better get off my bum and do it already!

Hafwen, Hedwig's cousin

Hafwen trying to stay away from my puppy Luna. Luna just wants to play, but Hafwen isn't stupid and is steering clear!

And here is Hafwen waiting in my car to take her meds so she could travel in the box to mllejessy (you know how uncomfortable it is for owls to BE the post and not be DELIVERING it Wink )

The library card book cover, up close:

The crests on the two-sided pillow:

The bookmarks and lipbalm cozy:

I had a lot of fun coming up with the ideas for this swap and trying some new things, I'd never made bookmarks before and this was my second amigurumi ever Smiley

Awesome stuff everyone!
