I'm about to cast on for this

and I thought I'd see if anyone's interested in joining me. The recent (relatively) warm weather has got me hankering for some lace knitting, and I've officially abandoned another project from which I will take the yarn to make this cardigan.

Sooo....come on down! Smiley

If only it wasn't done with such small needles  Shocked

It would take too long for me! It's a beautiful sweater though.

I've got yarn for it, but I didn't plan on starting for awhile. I am tired of almost all my projects right now, though, so who knows... you may inspire me to get started sooner than I'd thought! ;-)

I'm crystalnickel on Ravelry!

I'd really like to tackle this but I won't be able to until May at least, between WIPs and moving. Til then I'll just live vicariously through this thread.
bijou_raoul, what yarn are you using?

I'm using Elann's Devon (100% wool). It's advertized on the website as being sport weight but it's actually much finer and the same gauge as a lot of fingering weight sock yarns that I've used. I originally bought the yarn for another sweater I was going to design myself but it turned out I didn't order quite enough to finish it, but I've got the right amount for this project so it works out.

I just cast on yesterday and finished the hem and I'm now into the lace pattern. It's simple enough so I can watch TV while I'm working on it, but interesting enough so I don't get bored. I'm loving it!  Smiley
