whew.  I had a bad dream that this was all full already!  Guess it's the slacker guilt settling in.  I did start spinning at least (ok, so it's only a few hundred out of 750)  but that's ok right?!?  I still got time! *breath breath*

WHOOOO hooooo, my yarn porn is so yummy!! Raynbow was even kind enough to include a DROP spindle and some awesome fiber so that I CAN LEARN to spin too. Thank you soooo much Raynbow!! I have one more little thing to do for yours-- I should send out tomorrow or Friday! Now for pictures!!

the pretty colors of my 'larger' skeins. one is called mint oreos the other-- twix yummm i knew this would make me hungry.

the package in its entirety. YAAY!

Awesome, you are lucky Missedakick.  Very cool that you get to learn now too.   Cheesy  Is that beads I see in the yummy brown skein?

I was just looking at the tracking and thinking 'why didn't she tell me she'd gotten it', and now I see why!

I'm glad you liked it, yay!

The copper you're seeing in the brown skein isn't beads, it's just a hint of angelina.  I haven't figured out how to add beads to a nice "even" skein of yarn yet.

The blue yarn has beads and sequins and pompoms and all that in it.  It's my first novelty type skein.

I KNOW!!!! Isn't it just sumptious. I have so much new found respect for spinners.....you guys have patience. I just can't get the durn thing to make something as beautiful as Raynbow made for me! I know it might just take time.....but grrr, I want instant gratification NOW! The sparkly stuff is so beautiful. My bf asked if it were copper. What is angelina, exactly? I am now researching the perfect pattern for these little guys...

I'm not entirely sure what angelina is, it's a shiny synthetic fiber thing.  It looks sort of like thin little pieces of easter grass, but in a bunch of different colors, and you can card it in with your other fibers.

I didn't do that blend myself I got it at a recent fiber fair.

Someone else might be able to describe angelia more accurately!

It's a fine, sparkly fiber made from plastics, like acrylic. You can blend it into spinning fibers and also heat fuse it into sheets to make other things from.
