Well I'm fairly new to crochet and was happy to try my hand at making amigurumi. 
I used the bedfellow bear pattern but didn't follow it exactly. By not exactly I mean I used one size hook and yarn and did it entirely in single crochet.

As a result my bear is amazingly proportion challenged, my housemates kept insisting that his body was his leg!  But I love him and gave him to my ma for mothers day yesterday
