The Craftsters made me do it

Underhill940's great post here https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=155969.0  inspired me to gather up the shrinky dink pendants that are drifting around my desk for a little photo shoot.

I found that I was forever looking at my doodles and thinking they would make cute pendants/charms, only to find I couldn't draw them exactly the same way twice, so I've started keeping little pre-cut and hole-punched pieces of shrink plastic at my desk so that I can doodle on them instead.

This is what I found/got around to photographing this morning:

Above:  The first two pendants on the top row are a chinese dragon symbol.  The second one is on clear plastic.  The first pendant on the bottom row is for a friend and is apparently an earth symbol from Stargate.

NOTE:  None of the pendants are flaking, it's just cloudy out today, so I had to take pics indoors using a flash.  I'll try to get better pics up when the weather clears.

Thanks for looking!

Keeping pieces of shrink plastic to doodle on is a genius idea. I might have to start tucking some into my pencil case for taking to lectures...

I like the green and pink spotty one, and the black and white geometric-y one.

excellent idea to tuck some plastic and markers into something to take along, I seem to spend half my life waiting on one thing or another, this would make the time worthwhile

Thanks so much, girls!  I'm always creating stuff (aren't we all!) and I've been trying to find little ways like this to make things that are a bit more "permanent" so that I can share them with other people. Smiley

Anyway, you all inspired me to try making shrinky dink rings.  They are pretty cute.  I'll post them as soon as I have a minute to take photos.
