Hello! I am going to be in a wedding in VEGAS in April. This is the dress me & 2 other girls are wearing: http://www.roamans.com/roamans/product/product.asp?pf_id=51918&dept_id=702&parent_id=700&

The bride has asked me to make jewlery for me & the other 2 girls to wear (we don't need to match). We are probably going to be wearing black pumps with pink bow shoe clips, thats not  a deffinate yet (I think the bows on the shoes would be to much! The shoes that she is wearing in the pic aren't avalible & I've just spend a LONG time looking, so if any one has seen those shoes elsewhere please let me know!)...what would you make to wear with this dress.
I love the necklaces with the pearls & the bow  but I think that is a little over kill... any other suggestions?

I think jewelry is really going to be over the top........I totally agree with you on that.  I think a necklace will compete with the already decorated neckline.  Why not make a bracelet or simple dangle earrings to wear with the dress.  You could use pearls in pink or black.   Just a suggestion.

I'd stay away from necklaces because of the neckline of the dress... but some nice hair jewels and a nice bracelet and earrings. Maybe glass beads/jewels that are clear and silver wire? I don't know if gold would look right with the pink/black combo.

Thank you!
booglass: I was trying to tlak her into little dangly earrings in clear, black & pink.

geedownie: I agree abtthe necklaces, completly!   =)
I hadn't even thought of hair jewlery! What would you suggest?  A little clip with the pearls?  or maybe a clip with a black ribbon ...

PLease keep the ideas comming.

I think pearls are too... Jackie O with that dress... especially with it being in Vegas.

Hair - I just thought about something like this http://media.redgaloshes.com/01/003344.jpg
They'd look lovely in an updo. For shorter hair maybe just a crystal barrette.

maybe something like this

Thank you      Thank you!  Thank you!   Thank you!
I showed these to my friend (bride) she loves them. I'll make the bracelets & add one or two of the strands with pink beads & maybe one with pearls & a few with the clear & iridecent beads.
The hair pins are awesome as are the earrings!
& all this stuff looks easy to make.
