So, of course, I wait until the very last second to think of a Halloween costume. I'm thinking about trying to whip up a Jack in the Box head (the sourdough sandwich spokesman, not the child's toy) but am stumped about how to make or what to purchase as a oversized, white sphere that will allow me to breathe and see. Ideas?

I believe I have seen some people who did it using papier mache over a very large balloon.  I guess you cut a hole in the bottom large enough to put over your head, but I don't know how you keep it on other than gravity.  If you can't find a balloon big enough, maybe you could use a yoga ball and carefully cut the papier mache in half to get it off, then patch it back together with more strips of paper.
