I always forget to post on Fridays, so this is actually my frist Fiber Friday post.  Cheesy

this is some angelina fiber I fused, first time (:

hot pink (:  This was BFL, with tinsel spun in.

this is probably my favorite of the yarns I've done recently, it's mostly mohair with copper tinsel, plied with a mohair blend.
it's about 4-5 oz.

Yay for Fiber Friday! I haven't posted anything in a while and I finally made it, Woot!

Dressedinsun, I love the sparkly stuff. Your favorite is my favorite too. It's not your average yarn.

Here's my offering. Sorry I didn't get a chance to take any stats but it's Sheep Shed mill ends in light greys dyed with Jacquard Acid dyes. I ended up navajo plying the singles.

oooo, i'll have to see if i can find something to post.  Most of what I spun this week is for a swap!

But, I did go to a fiber fair last weekend and take some classes, so maybe I can post some of those.

Also harlem_purl I love those colors, so vibrant!.

dressedinsun, how do you use the angelina once it's fused like that? i'm such a newbie!

Lovely yarns, Dressedinsun!  I adore angelina.

I haven't had a chance to spin until this week (Spring Break!  wohoo!) and nothing can peel me away from my wheels.  I've got some bamboo to spin for the weekend, but these are a few of my wooly accomplishments:

"Oryx" handspun domestic wool with puffs of white mohair and brown angelina.  This isn't the best picture in the world...

"Peep Brigade" handspun soft domestic wool in shades of Peeps!

"Sock Hop" handspun natural uncarded brown/grey with accents of bubbly blobs.

"Twig and Blossom" handspun soft domestic wool in subtle shades of lavender, lilac, butterscotch, white, cobalt blue, slate, and mint sprig.

(50g/1.75oz BFL; Sock weight; approx. 245yd/224 meters)

This is from the 1/2 pound I dyed a few weekends ago.  The colors are not what i normally am drawn towards, but I love the way they turned out.  Can't wait to start on a sock!

Everything is great so far! Welcome to Fiber Fridays, dressedinsun! And hobbledehoy - holy crap, your yarns are gorgeous! I LOVE Oryx and Sock Hop!!

I tried coils for the first time this week and had a really good time with them. I don't have the jumbo flyer for my wheel though, so I had to gently ease most of the coils through so some of them got a little smooshy. I guess if I do them again, I'll have to scale them down a bit or wait until I get the jumbo set-up. The picture isn't great (does anyone else have trouble with taking photos of reds, or have any tips?) but I did my best to get the coils visable.

Big Red Nose (in honor of it being Red Nose Day in the UK today, a big fundraising event), super bulky thick-and-thin, BFL, 111 meters:

I can't wait to see what else you guys have to show off!

I totally hear you, Star217.  Everything I'm spinning right now is supersecret.  I *could* post some old stuff  Roll Eyes...but my computer is from the dark ages and doesn't have a USB port!   Shocked

Everything looks fabulous, as always!  Totally loving the coils right now!

I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's me with some yarn on my head.
