Thanks to the gals who came out to our first meeting!!! And thanks to all of you who have expressed interest in coming to future meetings.  Unfortunately, my job is going to take me out of town for the next 2 months and I won't be able to organize any meetings - but we don't want the group to lose momentum !!!!!

A couple of you mentioned that you would like to get together informally for a "free craft" where everyone brings a project that they're working on.  So, please, if you have the itch to finish your christmas cross stich while chatting with fellow crafsters, POST HERE !!! Also, if any of you feel like hosting a meeting and planning a craft please do so.

We found Joe's to be a fairly agreeable place for right now, but are open to other venues, dates, times, etc.

So, do your crafting duty and keep in touch with each other while I'm gone!

Do you have a digital camera?  Are you good with web site stuff?  Do you want to be in the South Side Crafting Group?

If so, please message me!  Last year, Diva Steph did a great job taking pictures and posting them to a website.  I really think it encouraged people to come to our meetings.  Plus, I think we should share the things we make with our fellow craftsters via this site.

how is November 21 for a free craft?

Under my mattress
I keep boxes of beautiful dreams
And late at night
When no ones in sight
They come out and whisper to me - J,LC

Hi there.  I'm Craft-Matic's big sister, and I'm not in Atlanta, (and I don't have a digital camera), but if you need someone to post pics that you manage to take, I can do it.  I can even make you up a special Atalnta Crafting Group website, wherein news and such could be posted, if you so chose.  I haven't gotten a chance to talk to Jen, though I suppose I'll probably talk with her tomorrow for my daughter's birthday, but just thought I'd pop in and offer my services here first.

woo a south atlanta group!
of course i am a bit more south than you guys seem to be meeting (peachtree cityish) but it sure beats marietta!  I don't have the evenings free right now for meets due to school, but hopefully when things slow down next quarter I can catch a meeting or two.

Hi All,

I was out of town for a while (work related) but I'm back so we should have another meeting?  Let's plan for early to mid January.

Does anyone want to propose a craft?
