Hi everyone!  This is my first post but I've been lurking for a while (so many talented crafters!!!).  I found these chairs at a thrift store.  I want to do something with them but I'm stumped!  They have a bumpy texture.  Any ideas?  Thanks so much!

you cute paint them and put a top coat on or make slip covers on them  and add a coushin so it isnt so hard.
We had chairs like that in art class and they can be ve4ry irritating to the bum. Cheesy

oh man! Those are neat!  My husband really really wants a set like that, but we haven't been able to find any anywhere!!  I believe if they were mine, I would first make a custom seat cushion for them out of some snazzy fabric and then maybe decopage it. Since my style is tacky and Out There and I would get the lining for pillows that has the tassels on it and put it around the edge of the seat part.  LOL .. like a Mexican pimp's old caddy! LOL

Very cool! Smiley

If you had 4 I'd suggest you take the legs off, tip the chairs at a 45 degree angle and connect them together in some way so that they form or square, then place a round glass table top on them.

Probably a larger project than you'd like, but that's the first thought I had - great chairs and I love the color!

Awesome find! I think I'd spray paint the legs black and leave the chairs alone. Though it would be fun to paint on them... like geometrical shapes in different colors, or you could do something totally wild like paint the legs black and white striped and paint the entire chair like a skull. That would be cool!
