i have a cute diary covered in fuzzy purple fur that is "locked".
would love advice on what to do with it,I can cut off the locked part and use it as a regular notepad...but would love to see if anyone has a more creative idea. Wink

if it's one of those thick locks built into the book, you could cut it at the spine and cut shapes in the covers to make it into a dual picture frame held together by the lock. you could then use the paper as scrap pad, or leave them in the book and write about the picture or the people in them.

Ok, I just had a Godmoment. A Godmoment is when I think something is really clever and genius. All though I'm not sure how you're going to do this. Ok. cut out the paper. then you can sew fabric to the open sides (except where the lock goes). TADA!! A perfectley neato clutch!!
I am soo pleased with myself, but hopefully you understand what I mean.

Maybe you could take inspiration from those furry monster purses and recon it into a monster journal.
