Ok this is my twist on the Rapunzel scarf! I decided to knot the scarf instead of braiding it!  Smiley

I like!  I've been doing a different variation... I've been doing long crochet chains (3-4 yards long), grouping them and doing spaced series of overhand macrame knots (like the rows of knots in a friendship bracelet, but with about 4 inches between sets of knots).

As promised, a picture of a macrame-knotted scarf.  I did it this way because I was afraid it would be TOO thin, since most of my yarn scraps were pretty scrawny and boring. 

I still like AmaZing's scarf more.  She has such lovely, funky, fluffy yarns, and the simple knotting really lets them stand out!
