So here's some stuff I did over spring break, seeing as I didn't do anything but work, knit, and watch movies.

My first socks!
Knitty's "Thuja"

I knitted socks! Terriffic! I have been lusting after the socks on this site, and I WILL make a pair someday, but I figure I should work my way up to that. Fairly easy pattern, I might make them again.
Kitted with Lion Brand Wool-Ease
On size 6 DPN's.

Ostrich Plume Dishcloth from The Dishcloth Boutique.

I went to JoAnn Etc for another skein of yarn for the socks, and whenever I go to JoAnn's I have to grab some Sugar and Cream. I have the same complex with Border's and Shakespeare. So I had some cotton yarn, and I was like, "Now what?" So I found a rediculously easy pattern and made this, It's big, sure, but that means there's more to love.
Knitted with Lily Sugar and Cream
on size 8 straights.

Column of leaves scarf

I started this about 4 times. But alas it is going well. I'm hoping it will look a lot better after some blocking and without the lifelines (which I have used more than once at this point.
I'll post the whole thing when/if I finish it.

congrats on your first socks! I've tried and failed 3 times so good job! they look great too.

I love the scarf. I can't wait to see it when your finished. (I thought I was the only one who needed lifelines when knitting cables. I use 1/8" satin ribbon. slides right out when im done lol)

I craft so I can avoid reality.....
