Try giving yourself a challenge. Look at a layout in a magazine that you really like and just do it with the supplies you have. I do that every once in awhile when I'm in a rut and I always get something interesting.

Mesh Dry wall tape from the hard ware store can be colored with your pens and is a great additon to a page as are buttons and fibers and yarns.

Make borders out of almost anything.

change your colors - go brighter or softer

And as someone else suggested - torn paper and inked or chalked edges.

I second the borders and inked edges. I usually have to much on a layout (I work in 8x8) so I have to take away, its so hard when I love all the cute stuff that is out there  Smiley
