oooh, no kidding! I love the colours!

all of this, calm and reasonable as it was, made out of ordinary things as it was, was the truth now; beauty, that was the truth now. Beauty was everywhere. - Virginia Woolf

I am so so late in posting this pic.  Chrissiemags sent me these wonderful squares for my craftster afghan:

Thank you again, they are perfect Smiley

Postal oddness - this has to be seen to be believed - I walked in yesterday to A YEAR'S WORTH of mail - bills, last year's and this year's birthday card from my mum... and of course all my swap packages!

So I got both the original and replacement packages from GatheredThreads - the cutest big penguin patch to cover the horrible scorch on my work smock, a knitting needle case, some fab hand-drawn flashcards, and an embroidery kit.

Action shot! Sort of... how the patch will look on my smock

Thankyou so much! Well worth the wait Smiley Sorry you ended up sending twice.

I received a wonderful package from my swap angel EOcrafter for OWS 20.  She went above and beyond to not only send a wonderful, thoughtful package, but extremely fast!  She is definitely an outstanding member of this community.  The personalized box is to hold my knitting needles, and she decorated with inspirational words and pictures as well as personal likes (like the turtle on the top).  Inside was the *MOST GORGEOUS* skein of yarn I have ever seen.  Of course, it was much more beautiful and easy to see when it was still a skein, but I didn't have the willpower to take a picture before I wound it into a ball.  Trust me, the colors are incredible and EOcrafter was nice enough to include a sheet containing all of the necessary info about the yarn.  She also included a surprise to give me knitting practice!  Here are the pics:
