And it all happened this WEEK!

Has anyone around here recently been dumped?  Are you an adult child of divorce?  Do you have a problem that maybe you'd like to make inappropriate jokes about and also have some unfinished projects laying around?  Does anyone in the Metro DC area want to get together, hang out, bitch A LOT, while making some crafty stuff?

A craft n' bitch support group.  Is this a totally crazy idea or what?!

she's crafty, she gets around, she's crafty, she's always down.

Sorry to hear of all the bad news.  I work in D.C.  Would you like to meet for a drink after work sometime?  I hear drunken knitting can produce interesting results.  Smiley

Here in Dallas we gave a go at the pub with our kniting group, and yeah that did produce intresting results! Ha! Just be careful not to get your wool in your beer. Felting via Beer = badness.

i was thinking about putting together something like this...

want to team up?

the goal:
a fun group for creative 20 somethings in the frederick, md area

what we will do:
have a fun website
meet weekly to share ideas, have some drinks & snacks and work on projects

about me:
i moved to frederick about a year ago to work as a photographer.  i havent met a
ton of new people and i love the idea of forming a group of creative people to share
ideas and meet some new people in the area.

what i need:
some partners in crime to help organize the project
a name for the group
people who want to join

whats next?:
send an email to brooke@brookeparrish.com and let me know if you want to join
or if your interisted in being a partner in crime & we shall go from there!

I would absolutely adore to craft'n'bitch with you, though most of you would probably find me far too young or immature. After all, I'm only turning fifteen in a few weeks. Many people have said I'm mature, but I can be really dorky at times. I do have a lot to bitch about though, especially once schools started. So if any of you are ever willing to take on an age barrier, I'd love to craft'n'bitch...

Love to be a partner in crime!  Let me know what you have come up with so far and we'll get together for a chat.

My email is rach@swankcreations.com.

P.S.  I'll also be at Crafty Bastards if you want to stop by my booth for a chat.
