This is my latest FO.  It took eight balls of Cleckheaton Country 8 ply Pure Wool that I got on sale last year for 50 cents per ball.  The buttons cost three times the price of the yarn!  <lol>  Thanks for looking.   Smiley

Very nice. I've been wanting to knit something with diamonds like that for a while. Where did you get the pattern?

Thank you very much, ladies.   Smiley

Detritus: You'll find the pattern here:

It was easy, mintlatte.  I'm sure you can do it.   Smiley

I've been singing that song to myself for the past couple of weeks, e-bar-goum.  Hopefully now the knitting is done I can get it out of my mind.    Grin

That's really cute: I like the buttons!  Detritus, there's a cardigan I really like on My Fashionable Life which uses the same lattice pattern: http://autoscopia.com/amelia/archives/2006/02/bridie_pattern.html
I have the pattern but haven't knitted it yet.

What a beautiful sweater!

Alicepalace, how did you get the pattern for Bridie?  Was it available before?  That's my favorite of the My Fashionable Life patterns, and I hate that it won't be available until autumn, unless I missed something and it's (please, please!) available now.
