I got a lovely package from the aptly named AmaZing today, all the way from England!

Inside were 4 wrapped gifts, numbered 1 to 4, with notes inside each one.  The photos don't quite match up with the package divisions, but inside were:

Beautiful lilac-scented perfume, a happy little stuffed rock made of t-shirt type fabric (similar to something on my wists), headbands (which were also on my wists), and some pretty fabric remnants (not pictured) and a ball of yarn.

The pets are quite happy with the yarn, by the way, and think it's a toy for them.  One of the cats knocked the yarn off the table this afternoon, they all ran around the living room with it, and then puppy somehow managed to tie my feet together while I was watching TV...!

Cute blue cards with buttons on them (yes, I have a lot of stationery on my wists!), an adorable peacock drawing because I love peacocks, and little cards from my wists that say "stop talking" (which I wish I had the guts to give out to annoying people in public).

A necklace of felted beads, and extra beads that I can't wait to play with!  I love the color combinations....

And finally:

A Rapunzel scarf that I adore.  Note the crocheted butterfly hiding in among the ribbons and yarn...  The scarf will come in especially handy this weekend, as the temperature will fall back down below freezing but our apartment is without heat until at least Monday.  Time to test out the old advice that you always feel warmer if your next is warm....

Thanks so much, AmaZing.  Everything is wonderful!!

So I finally started a blog....

OH. MY. GOD.  That is all I can say about the GIA-GUNDO box I recv'd today from shiftychica.  I'm falling asleep on my keyboard right now, so I'll download the pic's first thing in the morning.  Shiftchica, I bow to you.  You are amazing!!!  You really got me good.   Kiss Kiss Kiss

Cheesy  Yay!  I'm very glad you like it!

I had a helluva time sending that thing... if you find any blood on it, it's the sacrifice I made to the Postal Gods that everything would get there safely.

Okay, actually I just cut my finger on the box lifting it onto the counter.  But that wasn't all!  It turned out I had your zip code wrong, but the guy couldn't find the correct one as something was wrong with his computer.  He finally got the correct one, but as I was leaving he saw the gorgeous owl bag I got from CraftyCarrie in this swap and told me that owls are bad luck and if I'm not making any money I should get rid of the bag!   Shocked  Apparently it's a Filipino superstition...

lol  In any case, I'm glad it got there without incident.

Here's what I sent to ShaynaYasha!

Two 24" x 24" fabric-covered boards to hang on her wall; I didn't manage to get a picture in which you can really tell what they are, but here are close-ups of the fabric:

Two jasmine-scented Geisha soaps:

Mahjong tile bracelet:

Barrettes decoupaged with origami paper:

"Shoplifter" tote:

...And a yard of some cute pin-up girl fabric:
