  Shocked WOW!  Shocked

"Wow" does not even come close to expressing how amazed and impressed I am with Xamonster's swap items she sent me, but I am continually repeating it in my brain. It takes other forms such as "Oh, wow!" and "Holy f**king wow!" but, basically, I'm thinking, "Wow!"

I hope you all like pictures because I took tons of them.

Here is the full box in all it's red and gold glory:

A gift from Fawkes - too cool!:

What could this be, besides a gorgeous decorated tin?:

It's a container for some really cute Gryffindor magnets!:

She also sent some super cute owl stationery:

I can write notes to my friends and family and send them via...

My very own messenger owl!:

And look at this gorgeous yarn! It is mostly red with golden yellow streaks and metalic gold threads running through it. The picture does not do it justice:

This is amazing. She knit a water bottle cozy that really fits my bottle! It is so awesome:

Next we have the envy of all Gryffindor fans everywhere: "Wrist warmers for those cold Quidditch Games!"

The pièce de résistance, the mystery item, and the most incredible hand-knitted item I have ever owned...en entrelec Gryffindor purse!  Shocked

It is "a bag to carry around [my] most important items." Wow. Wow.

There is even more! Inside the bag were a beautiful set of stitch markers and an incredible embroidered phoenix patch. This patch is absolutely stunning and I couldn't get a very good picture of it. It's just...wow.

Xamonster is infinitely thoughtful. The sendout date was my birthday and she sent earrings with my birthstone! They can be worn even without ear piercings because they are magic!

Check me out!!!!

Oh, yeah! I am just itchin' to do some witchery now!

What sneaky magical items might I have in my bag? That's for me to know and you to wonder about.

Xamonster, this was truly the best swap ever for me. I am just so knocked out by with your crafting abilities and your thoughtfulness that I am at a loss for the right words to express how much I appreciate your swap package for me.

Thank you. I don't think thank you is enough, but what else is there to say?

Oh, yeeaaah.....

RAH! RAH! Gryffindor!

I am a lucky girl! I got my package from TreeTree on...yesterday? But I was going to make myself wait because I sent one day late due to my stupid diabetes. But then TreeTree told me to open it, and I did. Wow, what a spectacular set of items I got!! Really. The group in all its glory:

I got a knitted bag, a pair of marvelous Gryffindor earrings, an awesome bracelet, a handsewn purse organizer, and some Bertie Bott's every flavor beans!

Wrist cuff:

Purse organizer(complete with Kleenex, mini pens, and a mock Muggle communication device [fellytone?]):

My attempt at a close-up of the star fabric used on the organizer:

The bag:

My attempt to get a picture of the inner pocket of the bag:

Again, TreeTree, all of the things you made a re fantastic! I am always in awe of the craftsters around me. I absolutely love hand-knit things, but I'm too lazy to learn to knit.  Wink

Now, if you all will excuse me, I need to go strut my stuff in the common room.

I don't cause commotions; I am one.

I didn't recognize you without the handcuffs.

Wow, this is a whole lot of red and gold isn't it?  lol  I really, really need to learn entrelac now...

I feel sheepish that I couldn't remember fellytone...I KNEW Mr. Weasley called it something silly, but I didn't have time to hunt for what it was.
I took some pics before I sent and one pic in particular shows off the fabric, bracelet and a bit of the bag.

It's hard to see but there are little star beads sprinkled throughout...they are my favorite part.  I kind of had a magical star theme and I didn't even plan on it.
