I had hoped to post this week. Been playing with my drop spindle. I'm sure I will have something next week. Everyone's yarns are so inspiring!

I like making stuff. Rumor has it, I'm an elf. Like a Santa Elf, not one of those elegant LOTR types.  Mostly because I compulsively craft and partially because I have green shoes.

The yarns this week demonstrate exactly why I wanted to spin in the first place! Everyone's look fantastic; I'm impressed with the variety of colors too- is this because we want winter to be over? Here's mine - it's 2-plied, merino, and is intended for the veronik averey sweater from the spring interweave knits. I only have about five more hanks to go. oi.

I love everyone's yarns!  This thread is so awesome...

Here's my contribution...

This is wool roving that I dyed with Kool-Aid, 2-ply, about 80 yds and worsted weight.  It's my first yarn on my new wheel!  Yippee!

Absolutely gorgeous fibre friday! I'm a little late, but next week I'll be back with lots of yarns from my new wheel... the second one, they're starting to breed, lol. Smiley
