I'd like to make some of these instead of spending a fortune buying them! Any ideas on patterns? Thanks a bunch Smiley

Built by Wendy just released some spring patterns....you can find them on simplicity.com. The only thing that would be similiar is the shorts. You could probably modify the pattern yourself to fit the ssame style of the Gap shorts.

what an excellent day for an exorcism!

the lux printed mod top would be easy enough to make without a pattern. the great printed fabric ould be a rectangle the size of you times about three for some ease in the gathers. then the band across the top and the straps are basically rectangular as well. Just sew right sides together around three sides and turnright side out and press. Then if you like the size just sew it in place and add the buttons on top. These areas would be interfaced to make them sturdier. Hope htis helps a little. It's a very simplistic overview but I think it woudl be pretty easy.
As for the others I'm really not sure since I rarely buy patterns.
