Love the campfire.  I got my set on Saturday and I started a set of towels for my parents camper.

I am #7  I am so excited.  I can not wait to get it in the mail.

Joolz - How did you get that raised effect on your cherry? Did you just satin stitch over and over again?

Also, how many threads are you guys using?

I just did satin stictch, I think in a couple of places I may have gone over it more than once to make it look right.  Oh and I think I used 3 or 4 threads through most of it.

I love the campfire pattern, rita it looks great.  Your stitching looks so clean and neat!

Joolz, your satin stitch is really nice.  I'm inspired to try that one again.  I haven't ever gotten it to look that good.

I used 4 strands.  I took a longer piece with 2 strands, then doubled it going through the loop left on the underside so I didn't have to knot it.

Thanks for the compliments!

I used 2 strands on the rocket, but I did mine in chain stitch, so it ends up looking more like 4.

Oooh!  I love the campfire one!  I am number twelve I think, so it is getting closer and closer to me, and then I send it home!  You have all done such a great job, I really hope I don't mess it all up.  It really has been alot of fun watching it grow and evolve over the last few weeks!

I used 4 strands for the state and 3 for the letters. I feel like such a rebel not using a Sublime Stitching pattern  Embarrassed
I love the new additions, great job girls!

Hi everyone!

I want you to know first that we are going to start selling tea towels, just like the one on-tour, on the site today!  We are still really, really interested in your feedback and this doesn't mean that our quest for the perfect tea towel will end.  It was time for us to re-stock and this towel seems better than what we had before.  Your initial feedback seems positive overall, but keep giving it to us.  When our travelling towel makes its way home to Sublime Stitching Headquarters we will look at the comments and feedback and consider it fully!
