I was noticing at the pet store that they make toys for dogs that you put a treat inside and the dog tries to get the treat out. I think my cat would love something like this. He's very mischievious.
The problem is they don't make them for cats and cat treats are to smaill to put in a dog one. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could make something like this?

have you seen those ball toy which your pet rolls around to make treats fall out? maybe you could make one by cutting a hole in the side of a film cannister, then put some treats in and pop on th lid. and maybe you could attach a bell to the cannister to make it more interesting

That's a really good idea!! I'm going to try it out this weekend.

They DO make these balls for cats and ferrets, but they are hard to find.  My cats didn't care for the ball anyway.  They knew I'd give them treats if they bothered me enough and that was easier than trying to get the treats out of the ball, I guess!!

I love the idea of the film canister.  You could use a larger pill bottle too.  You recycle and the toy is FREE this way!

Crocheting is like prostitution.  First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and then for money.  Maybe that is why they call us Hookers?

I have a cat with an eating disorder, he eats EVERYTHING!!! So I started feeding him with this ball because he actually tastes it.
Our pets treat n play.  I googled it and found them on line for 1.89 for two.  However, look around pets mart or pet co.
Found these there.
