so i have a problem with browsing afghan patterns and finding ones i cant wait to start, so i do...regardless of whether im already making a blanket....

these are the three im trying to finish before finding yet another pattern i want to make!

close ups!

this is the lacy victorian pattern i found http://pandacrochet.8m.com/lacyvictorian.html

this is my october blanket that im not sure if its going to be a baby blanket for a baby that doesnt exist or if i'll make it bigger. i got it from another thread that decided to do a year round blanket https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=117318.0

and finally my manly blanket..i havent made one for my dad yet and found a square called "manly square" and i thought perfect, father's day present http://www.texasdg.net/daynascrochet/pattern.asp?id=46

hope you enjoy, id love to see what other Afghans Whores are working on!!

Ooo all of them are beautiful Smiley  The good thing about granny squares is that you can make a bunch and then put them together later.  There is nothing wrong with having more than one project at a time.  Wink

I don't know if i have the patience for granny squares...  i like the idea of the yoyo blanket, what size are the little circles?    is there a picture of what it'll look like when it's finished?? ...but then i guess the smaller the pieces are the more you have to make for a blanket! - still i could always make a very small blanket  Wink

yeah i fear the yoyo blanket may be a little too tedious for me but here's the link

i think this could make a cool pillow too if you dont want to make an entire blanket...i just needed a way to get rid of those tiny scraps that cant make anything but a yoyo

My name is ValSped and I'm an afghan whore.
(pics to follow after camera is fixed)
at the moment I have:
mile a minute baby blanket
blanket started for each of my 2 step kids
one started for each of my 2 sons
a scrap giant granny square
and random squares (and other shapes) from a book of granny squares that I just randomly pick up and HAVE to try! Wink

I, too, am whorish.

I usually have two or three afghans going at a time.

I'm working on a scrap-ghan right now.......and I have a yo-yo one in progress.

Here's some finished ones and I know I have a pic of the yo-yo in progress.......
