oh my god, the last time I posted was on pg 30-- in may-ish. I finished this over the early part of the summer and it was ungodly hot here, so I couldn't really wear it.

But now I am wearing it, because the tempurature is just right Smiley

i look left.

It is caron simply soft, of course, in black and purple. Go figure. I made the sleeves extra long and adapted a pattern I was previously attempting (and failing) for the neckline, then just worked on with shaping and such.

Pattern I used for the neckline--> http://www.stitchdiva.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=SDS-026

DM7DragonFyre, I LOVE it!  I was thinking of using the same color combination (or else black and pink, but I really love purple), but I ended up just doing regular black.  I also like your neckline.

thanks Smiley

I'm a sucker for pink/black (or just black! my recent load of laundry was amusingly goth) myself, but I thought I'd try something different. I actually really like the purple.

Also, I have a thing for V-necks. I'm an average build but not... terribly endowed, so the v-necks are pretty and accentuating while still being punky

Hey everyone, I've been following this thread for quite a while and I've decided to join in.  This will be my first sweater!

I cast on weeks ago and tonight I finally separated the sleeves from the rest of it.  So now I am working on knitting the body.  No pictures yet, but maybe next time I try it on.

Thanks for all the tips and pictures of everyone's progress, it has inspired me.
