Hey!  My name is SARAH:) and I live in MPLS, MN.  Yes actually the city!  Anywho just wondering who else is out there?  I am 25 and a crafty stay-at-home-mom with 2 girls starting a business on the web and going to Grad School to become non-other than a Librarian!  I could use some crafty local friends!

hi sarah,
i live in duluth, so i can't be your minneapolis crafty friend, but it would be super easy to start a craft group.
just post a few signs around campus, asking interested people to email you.  once you have a few people together, set up a regular time and place.
don't know what school you're at, but if it's the u and you have a few other students, i think you can register as a student organization and get a place to craft and possibly a little funding.
anyhow, you're certain to meet lots of crafty friends.

Heya Sarah.

We have a couple of standing Mpls Stitch and Bitch sessions (listed on anither thread in Twin Cities city guide).  No reason you can't bring another craft and check them out.

Hi there!  My name is Vanessa, and I also live in Minneapolis.  I'm a 21 year old girlie who recently moved here and doesn't really know that many people.  I love crafting, and am hoping to go back to school in the fall for technical writing.  I'd love to meet up with any other crafty chicks in the area!  Feel free to email me.

Just letting you know that my name is Valerie and I am really inspired by the ideas on this website.  I also teach classes in Minneapolis and nearby areas, specifically jewelry classes.  You can see more at www.valoirdesigns.com

I am thinking about trying to get some one evening projects together from this website and offer "crafty time" at Articulture (3745 Minnehaha Ave. S.) I'd be curious to know if anyone would be interested.

Hi, I'm Jessa, I go to school in Roseville (but the mailing address is St. Paul). I'm hoping to find some crafty buddies this year.

Welcome!  Isn't craftster.org great?  My name is Kristine and I am a mom of two boys (6 & Cool.  I live in St. Paul, so were neighbors!  My main "gig" is jewelry but I tend to dabblle in many other crafts, especially since joining this group.

I run a bead group called "Born to Bead" on Yahoo.  Come check us out.  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/borntobead/.  It is for beginners and advanced beaders.  We do a lot of swaps.  We just finished a spiral rope swap, beaded barefoot sandal swap, semi-precious stone swap and are int he middle of a beaded ring, anklet and lariat swap.

I teach at Michael's and enjoy the teaching part of it very much.  Lots of regular customers that keep coming back.  I would like to teach elsewhere, but at this time Michael's is working out well.

Again, welcome!  If you ever want to get together, PM me and we can set something up.

Take care.
