So...I haven't bought anything for myself in a while, and I decided that a pink DS was just the right gift! However, once I bought the thing, I didn't have any money for a case. No worries! I am crafty! I'll just make my own!

Well, lucky for me I had some pink knit jersey fabric around and lots of carboard boxes. (My cats love playing in boxes, so i keep them around. In fact, they gave me dirty looks while I cut this one up.) I also just bought the cute cherry buttons on Friday. these plus my sewing machine and a little sobo glue gave me:

That looks really great! I just got a camera for my birthday yesterday but it didn't come with a case. I planned on making one, but I was afraid it'd be too flimsy. I never thought about using cardboard.
