Alright... So.. I developed insomnia for ... months now.. I found something to finally make me fall asleep.. A little someone called Bob Ross.. ( PBS fro happy tree painter guy) He died in 95.. Well anyways.. I loved watching him because me made me sleepy and I used to watch him when I was a kid. ... Well I got in a little obsession and made a Bob Ross Purse with paints, etc.. Here is how it turned out..

I put quotes on it etc..
Here is the other side

I also made this random bag.. not bob Ross inspired or anything..

So yea... Then I carried a piece of him with me everywhere.. Then I got this crazy notion that I could actually paint bob Ross Paintings... lol. So I purchased a Ton of oil paints although I've never used them before and I went to town bob ross style.. It took me about.. 40 minutes each painting.. and this is my first time.. The second one didn't turn out as well.. . I did these both last night and the night before.. It's becoming an addiction I recommend anyone try him. you can watch him on Utube just to check him out etc... See if its something you want to try. I can't wait to learn more technique and create my own paintings. anyways this is how it tunred out...

Tell me what you think !!! and if the links don't work please tell me!! This is only my second time really posting anything.

Oh wow...your painting is really good!  Cheesy
I think the bags are adorable, too.  What a great idea and a neat "conversation piece"!

Love the quotes, love the paintings, I just love your post!

Had no idea Bob Ross was on youtube...I used to watch him wih the fascination that only somone who knows she has no artistic talent could muster, always wondering if he could make me a tolerable painter...You've inspired me to actually give it a "go". I love to look at mountains, and I love "happy trees", so my taste is quite simple, actually....all I want is to be able to produce something (anything!!) recognizable!

Those are seriously awesome. I can just imagine how many comments you must get when you use your Bob Ross tote in public, haha...It's very creative. Smiley

The paintings are really good too. I always watch his show and I'm like, "he makes it look so easy! I could probably do that..." but honestly I doubt I could make it look even half as good as yours.
