I have a friend who is really into his car (a Scion XB), he's the president of a scion club in Chicago and spends most of his time/money on this car.

Anyway, I was knitting my boyfriend a skull illusion scarf,

and my scion loving friend saw it and really liked it. So I was thinking it would be cool to knit him a scarf with the scion logo

Only I have no Idea how to make an illusion chart.
Could anyone help or direct me to anything that would help me with making a chart with the scion logo Huh

I would greatly appreciate it!

Here's a website that will generate knitting graph paper if you type in your gauge:

Print the graph paper out and trace your design onto it.

Here's instructions for how to draw the chart so it will come out as an illusion:

Hope that helps!

If you can pixilate the image you want before you chart - that helps immensely.
You picked an easyish logo - so that is a bonus in your favor. You might want to turn it so the logo is going up the scarf or the scarf is going to end up really wide (IMO).
My first one was a flamingo - that sucker took up nearly half the scarf just for one bird - so it didn't work that well (oh well, I know he is there).
Once you get the hang of making the pattern - you'll be hooked for good (fair warning Smiley )

If you have the Stitch and Bitch book, it has an illusion scarf in it that you could use as an example

This pattern is for a DNA illusion scarf.  She explains the process really well, and you can just sub in the Scion chart for the DNA chart.  You can convert the logo to a chart using KnitPro and then go from there.  Just FYI -- it may be hard to get the detail that you'll need to clearly make it a Scion logo.   Maybe consider Fair Isle or double-knitting instead?

Wow thanks!

I started working on a pattern, I'm doing it sideways so the scarf wont be 60+ stitches wide.

Can't say for sure when it will be done, but I'm working on it.

Thank you everyone for responding, I would be lost without most of those links  Grin
