I have one of those turquoise, circular, iMac mouses (mice?) that doesn't work anymore, but being the packrat I am, I can't bring myself to throw it out. (Hey, it's still cute and colourful.) Any ideas of what I can do with it so it's not clutting up my bedroom floor anymore?

Hmm, off the top of my head:
  • A dangling suncatcher for a window
  • make it into a drawer pull if you have some piece of furniture with only one drawer
  • I think it might make a neat toy for a toddler...I know my nephew is fascinated by my optical mouse, and he loves playing with a no-longer-functioning keyboard that we had. So long as they can't break it easily.
  • Put it onto a box of some kind (cigar-box type container) to use in sort of the same fashion as a drawer pull/door knob

I just had the weirdest case of deja vu while writing these. Bizarre.

Anyway...hope that at least got you inspired even if the ideas suck.  Smiley

-cat toys Cheesy
-open it up and use cool peices for key chains or jewelry
-put in the bottom of a glass vase with fake flowers..might look interesting  Tongue
-make it the main effect of a mobile or curtain
-use it as a display for an interesting conversation starter
-use as a pull cord for a light
-halloween decoration
-take everything out of the inside and add sand or something heavy and use as a door stop
-rather large pendant?

Paint a mouse on it! or just eyes, nose, whiskers, etc. I would be astonished if no one had previously thought of this, but I SWEAR I just now thought of it myself! Darn, I threw out several old mice! I'm going to start doing this myself, and will post pix.

It's weird, that deja vu thing happens to me a lot on the net....

You could make it into a belt and take an old keyboard apart and make a matching bracelet.
