I loved this idea so much that I used it in my sitting room, it has a large unusually shaped chimney breast and this has worked perfectly. I have a large mirror in front of the fireplace at the moment because I haven't been using it. I added a couple of sets of feather wings above the papers (I adore feathers!) and there are always lillies and candles and sheepskins around

Everyone that comes into the house either loves it or hates it, 99% of them love it!

I love personal swaps, for supplies, surprises, flamingo themed things and general silliness

I would love to get my hands on charlie harper fabric.

I also rent a dreadfully white-walled apartment. We are allowed to paint, but that's a lot of effort for someplace you'll only be a year or 2. This is an awesome idea! I really want to try it out. And I'm so glad others who have, have also posted pics. Beautiful job to all of you.

I'm blown away.  That looks FANTASTIC!!!!!  How creative is that?!? ;-)

so i JUST moved... and painting my last apartment was such a pain in the bum (let's just say i started it the week i moved in and finished it seven months later Smiley) i wasn't anxious to do it again.  soooo... enter my super awesome idea.  paperaddict.com, site of many reasonably priced awesome 12x12 scrapbooking papers. a little strategic placing (making sure that similar colors and similar patterns weren't too close, yes, i AM that anal) and voila!  my wall!  i totally love it.  i have full mirrored closet doors across from it so when i look in the mirror it's my backdrop.  this was a fairly cheap super easy super awesome way of jazzing up my boring white wall.

(Please note that my site name might be a bit misleading.  At present I'm not in business and not selling pieces.  I just liked the pun aspect of "bespoke" given that I talk a lot!)

That is awesome!!!

And if someone wanted more of a 3D  art, they could do that on a board and then hang the board on the wall.
