Hi everyone- heeheehee. I made my first felt plushies! yay! lots of fun- I wanna make more.
Made out of some scrap wool felt, gorgeous (vintage) wool tweed, leather ears, embroidered faces with (vintage) buttons,
stuffed with scrap wool, felt, and lavender buds (so they smell like lavender!)
okay Gracie -I promise I'm getting there..They are relevant.....heehee...

AND Needle felted toes, bellies, tails and hair!! Grin
Weeeeeeee!!! I call them Wooly Booly's (If you can believe that that was the classic song playing on my stereo just as I was trying to think of a name! how fortunate!hahah!)

They are brother and sister. Twins separated at birth. Brother Booly (on the left) was raised in Jamaica and Sister Booly grew up to be a dance star in France.
lol.

Check out more pics in my flickr photos. http://www.flickr.com/photos/tanisalexis/
I hope you like 'em as much as I do. I dont know if I wanna sell these babies- They might just stay here and keep me company.  Cheesy Thanks so much for looking.

Wooly Booly's - the perfect name for them - I love that song. I think I would have to keep them too!

Love the modern-vintage style of these lexis  Smiley
There's also a touch of the "lowbrow" style to them

Wow Jane- Lowbrow! I'm totally flattered. I am a big fan of lowbrow- but just can't force my art to come out like that..  Smiley

MTRuth- thanks so much- it is a great song...and a fitting name for something wooly.

Burgunator- I'm really pleased you like them- I've only made a few plushies but they are addictive. hee.
